It just a far fetched dream. Just like how we long for the sky to hold, we are struck on the ground. Oftentimes, life is just like that. A terrible and never ending cycle of suffering and hardship. I watched as multiple hands emerge in the surface of the blood river, I watch silently as they tried to hold me down. Instead of losing herself to a rabbit hole of nostalgia and futile hopes, the Priestess made her judgment that perhaps it was wiser some things were left out of her purview. She did not wish to know if Fate would be so cruel as to repeat its history with two of her close friends. Though it defied logic itself, the unspoken hope remained deep within her thoughts that the two who perished among the forest could find solace in the present garden. Iridescent eyes narrowed at the fountain near the theatre, narrowing as the man shook off that inexplicable sensation feasting at his spine. Rest assured, he was plenty adept to mask his momentary concern to not let it reflect in the present.
