CHAPTER FORTY

The Tabloids.

As always, Stephany woke up in time despite retiring to bed late the other night. After that sleep, she seemed energetic and had some laps on the treadmill down in the gym room.

After a few laps of exercise, she decided to take care of other tasks before rushing for a shower. Since it was morning and chef Ali wasn't home that day, she went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

Stephany thought of her life. She was never someone who had the love for the kitchen while growing up. But, her mother and aunt would urge her to prepare breakfast.

She was a quick learner too and that increased her laziness towards the kitchen duties. Especially when she felt her relationship with her mother was separated by a wider gap every single day that passed.

She doesn't even remember if it was her or her mother that discouraged her from spending some time in the kitchen. All her siblings, who are all male, knew how to cook from as early as five years.
