Hunter didn’t know how long he had been standing in front of Leila’s door.

All that he could think of was the fact that Leila’s words were still spinning inside his head.

“I love you, Hunter…”

Those words kept on running in his head – and it was clouding his mind right at that very moment.

He couldn’t stop the happiness that was warming his heart. And it made him smile – then, he licked his lips. But then, the smile pasted on his lips was still visible. He couldn’t stop the fact that it was tickling his heart.

“Damn it!” He murmured under his breath – as he ran his palm on his face.

However, Leila’s next words resonated in his head.

“I love you, Hunter… But I think this is g-goodbye… Please don’t be my training partner anymore. For our goodness’ sake…”

But then, those words didn’t let his smile fade.

“Let’s see… Leila… Let’s see…” Those were the only words that he could say – as he instantly mapped his plans inside his head.
