Amber Pov

I did not inform Phil that I saw him at the mall with Bovic and Pao. I didn't even ask if the two of them had a relationship. I also didn't show that I was angry with him because of what I saw. He might just tell me that I'm assuming too much. Maybe the two of them had a secret relationship and it was just a misunderstanding that's why he kicked Bovic out of this house before. And also maybe it's to convince me so I would go back to his house and continue the drama we started based on the contract we both signed.

"Your car is coding now, Amber, right? Just have Phil drive you to school so you won't be late," Grandpa said to me when he saw me coming down the stairs.

I was about to open my mouth to reject his suggestion but Phil's words cut me off.

"I'm in a hurry so I couldn't taker her to school, Grandapa," Phil quickly disagree. And before Grandpa could speak, Phil quickly left the house. He didn't even glance at me.

Suddenly, my chest tightened when he just ignored me
