I woke up to the sound of my Dad's heartbreaking howl and I felt tears sting my eyes. The drive from Ryker's pack house to mine was like a weight was pressing down on my chest making it hard to breathe. Graduation day was tomorrow away and Preston was a nervous wreck, why? I had no idea but seeing him thinking of anything that didn't have to do with his parents, was better than anything. I looked across the yard to where my mate and son were and smiled. It's been a roller coaster ride but we work through it all. We've been together for two years today and every day has been a blessing.Two years ago, Preston and I made the decision to adopt the pup that had been left behind by his parents even if we weren't quite ready.
