18. Ryker

"Ryker" Preston gasped as he took in the clearing. I had a couple of pack members decorate it. There were fairy lights hung on trees. Smack in the center was a table for two with tiki lamps around lighting the area. Beside the table was a cart with trays of food and a cooler that held the drinks. Since Preston was under age still, I had them pack sodas instead of alcohol.

"How did you do all this in such a short time?" He asked turning to face me and I smiled

"I had help from a couple pack members. Do you like it?" I asked while looking at the clearing. Flowers had long gone died due to the winter weather and the trees had gone bare. The air smelt fresh and clean. Snow was coming soon.

"No" I blinked shaking my head at his reply making my heart sink only to sigh in relief when he added, "I love it. This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. Thank you"
