Ezra's POV

"How's the hunt to my father? Did you already know where he is hiding?" I asked.

Ryler stayed silent for a couple of seconds before his hand gently squeezes my back.

"I told you to think of what to eat," he said, trying to avoid the topic

I pouted. "I just want to know how busy you would be for this week," I replied.

I have no idea about the whereabouts of my father while my mother is still on the underground dungeon. Ryler is giving her food and water thrice a day. It's actually enough for her to be alive.

I know I shouldn't feel this way because of what they did to Ryler's parents, but I am still glad that Ryler did not ket my mother starved to death despite of what her husband did.
