Third People's POV
In the president's office, Blake sat in his chair and read the documents beside him. Dowen walked in and said softly, "King Blake, you were right. Emily is here." However, Blake mocked coldly, "Richard will make her the weapon again." "Richard must be flattering himself. The relationship between you and Emily is over. Moreover, you've found your mate. How could you be tempted by Emily?" Dowen couldn't help but mock Richard, feeling that he had gone crazy. Blake said calmly, "I'm not interested in her!" Half an hour had passed, and Emily began to panic. She looked at the door frequently, hoping that the tall and handsome Blake would walk in through the door. Blake deliberately ignored her. Another 30 minutes had passed, and he still didn't go to see her. Instead, it took him another twenty minutes before he walked to the lounge. When he opened the door and saw the woman standing with her back to him, he wasCatherine's POV Ten o'clock in the morning. I received a call, which shocked and surprised me. It was from Troy. I thought that he would scold me hard over the call. But surprisingly, he was gentle. He said that he wanted to invite me for lunch. He also said that my foster mother left things for me and he would bring them to me over lunch. I was so surprised that I didn't know how to answer him, but Troy seemed to be very sincere, as if all the grudges were gone, and I was still his beloved daughter. It felt surreal. "Cathy, let's have lunch together. I really want to apologize to you." When Troy found that I didn't answer, there was a hint of pleading in his tone. "Don't you hate me?" After that accident, I was getting more vigilant toward people. Troy was my foster father, but there was a deep grudge between us. I wouldn't meet him easily. "I don't hate you anymore. It was all Gina's fault. She is too ambitious. You have al
Blake's POV I didn't waste my time. I met many people. Many of them were Richard's sworn enemies. I wanted to learn more about the things Marc did in the company and the wolf pack. These people were once the backbone of the royal wolf pack. They all worked for Marc. After Richard took over the company, he found all kinds of excuses to get rid of these people. The rule of a new manager leading new employees applied to all occasions. I wanted to use Richard after he got out of prison to investigate the relationship between Marc and him. I wanted to find some evidence to find out if there was someone behind Marc's mistakes. A few years ago, I was busy taking over the company and the wolf pack. In addition, Richard was locked up in prison. I had to deal with all kinds of things and I was not in the mood to think about it. Now, Richard had been released from prison, and the company and the wolf pack were stabilized under my control. In addition, I knew the r
Catherine's POV I just had a meal with Troy, but the next afternoon, he called me again. Although I didn't want to go, I had to because I agreed with him. This time, Troy did not book a private room, and we ate in the hall. I didn't care about it. Troy was the first to arrive. When I came, I asked him, "Didn't you say there was someone else?" "Yes, he hasn't come yet. Cathy, have some coffee first!" Cathy placed a cup of coffee in front of me. Just as the atmosphere became a little strange, an elegant voice sounded. "Surprise!" I looked up and saw Nick. He pulled out a chair opposite me and sat down. "Why are you here?" I was shocked. Troy smiled and said, "Cathy, he is my new boss, Nick! You should have known each other long ago!" I frowned. How could I not know Nick? Blake had always told me to stay away from him. "Catherine, what a coincidence!" Nick wore an elegant and friendly smile as he spoke to me
Catherine's POV Early in the morning... Blake and I got up and helped Hedwig and Noah change their clothes. When they saw Blake, their little faces were full of happy smiles. "Daddy, did you come back yesterday? Did you bring me a gift?" Hedwig ran over and held Blake's thigh as usual. She raised her little head and asked expectantly. "Sorry, Hedwig, I came back in a hurry this time and didn't have time to buy a gift for you. Let's go shopping tonight, okay? Whatever you want, I will buy it for you." Blake had promised Hedwig to buy her a gift, but perhaps he was in a hurry and forgot about it. "Well, Mommy said that you are very busy at work now. Daddy, play with me after you finish work. It's OK." Hedwig was sensible and didn't make a scene like before. Blake squatted down and kissed Hedwig's forehead. "Hedwig, my good girl." Patricia and I watched and also praised Hedwig. Emerson came out of the elevator in a wheelc
Blake's POV After I left, I went straight to Leo's company. When Leo saw me, a look of surprise flashed across his face. "Blake, why are you here?" "I have something to tell you," I said in a low voice. "Well, you came at the right time. I was about to go out!" Leo smiled and immediately asked someone to bring a cup of coffee. I took a sip of the coffee, and the strong bitter aroma made me feel refreshed. "Leo, there is something I have never told you. I won't hide it from you. You have the right to know," I said. There was a flash of surprise in Leo's eyes. He asked seriously, "What else are you hiding from me?" "'The truth of Marc's betrayal," I whispered. "What?" Leo exclaimed, "Is there a problem?" "Yes. Maybe someone made him do so," I said sadly. Leo frowned. "Blake, who are you suspecting?" "Richard!" "Is it really him?" Leo was very angry. "Damn scum!" "Now we still need to fin
Catherine's POV I was just reaching out to respond to Blake's hug when Patricia's voice suddenly came from the stairs. "Why are you two hugging each other here? There are still children at home. Isn't it too much for you two to do this?" Patricia's voice startled me, and I quickly pushed Blake away. When Blake heard Patricia's voice, his body tensed up. Then, he let go of me and walked toward the bedroom. "What happened to him?" Seeing that Blake had not even greeted her, Patricia was stunned. I hastily chuckled and said, "He might be a little tired from work. Patricia, don't mind him." "Of course not. He has made me mad countless times since he was young," Patricia smiled. I laughed softly, "I'll check on him." Then, I held his coat and walked quickly to the bedroom. I opened the door and saw him sitting on the sofa with a blank face. His eyes were glistening with tears. I was shocked. "What happened to you?" I
Blake's POV One night had passed. The first thing I did when I came to the company was to ask about the results of Dowen's investigation, but the results were irritating. "We have investigated all the properties under Olivia's name. She is still nowhere to be found. King Blake, do we need to expand the scope?" Dowen asked me nervously. "Who is with her? Can others use the people around her to threaten her? Does she have any children?" I had been busy looking for Olivia and forgot to investigate her further. Last time, Patricia asked me to look into her background, but I only had some brief information about her and didn't pay attention to such details. However, Dowen shook his head. "When I investigated her last time, I mentioned that she had never given birth to a child. So, she doesn't have any children. However, I saw some of her old photos. She spent a lot of time with a little girl. I don't know if the girl is her illegitimate daughter. However, fo
Third People's POV Back at the apartment building, Sunny got Leo to leave. Then, she took out her mask and put on her hoodie. She stood by the roadside and hailed a taxi. She gave an address, and then the car left. Two hours later, on a farm on the outskirts of the city, the car stopped. Sunny paid the driver and went straight to the farm. Sunny knocked on the door. Someone came over to open the door and was surprised to see her. "Sunny, why are you here?" "Is Olivia here?" Sunny asked. That person was stunned for a moment. "Let me in. I have something urgent to tell her!" Sunny seemed to know something and asked. "But..." "I came alone. No one followed me!" Sunny could hear the worry in that person's voice. "Come in!" The door was opened. Her name was Teresa, Olivia's childhood friend. She was the only woman who did not despise Olivia. She has been ugly since she was a child. Olivia helped her a lot and they had been friends
Third Person's POVEven if Dowen was a bit slow on the uptake, hearing Blake's words made him pause for a moment. Then, with a knowing smile, he said, "Alright, Mr. Chavez. I'll go rest now. Call me if you need anything.""Mm," Blake nodded, dismissing Dowen before turning his attention back to Catherine, who was busy cooking. The spacious kitchen was soon filled with the rich aroma of sizzling beef and boiling pasta. Blake hadn't felt particularly hungry earlier, but now, the smell made his stomach growl painfully.Catherine glanced at him, noticing his intense gaze. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, feeling slightly self-conscious. "It'll be ready soon. Just wait a little longer.""Catherine," Blake said suddenly, his voice low and serious, "from now on, you're only allowed to cook for me. No other men. Understand?"Catherine froze, the spatula in her hand hovering mid-air. She looked at him, puzzled. "What's gotten into yo
Third Person's POV"I'll go first thing in the morning. Blake, did I embarrass myself tonight?" Leo asked, worried about the fallout from the fight."I'll handle it. I have already taken care of the bar, but if any videos surface, I'll deal with them immediately. Don't worry," Blake reassured him, patting his shoulder."Thanks, Blake," Leo said, collapsing onto the couch. "Where the hell is Olivia? If I catch her, she's going to pay.""I've got people looking into it. If she's left town, we'll know soon," Blake said grimly."Alright. It's getting late. You should head back. Don't worry about me," Leo said, glancing at the clock."I'll leave two bodyguards outside. Call them if you need anything," Blake said before leaving.Leo lay back on the couch, the pain from his wounds sharp but insignificant compared to the ache in his heart.Earlier, while drinking, he'd overheard a group of men talking about Sunny in the most vulgar way
Third Person's POVThe man who had been so brazen just moments ago now trembled at the sight before him. His legs gave out, and he collapsed to his knees with a thud.Clutching his bleeding head, he broke down in tears. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't really mean it—I was just talking nonsense! Mr. Chavez, please! I'm stupid! I'll never say anything like that again!"Blake watched the man's frantic apologies, the anger in his eyes slowly fading. He spoke coldly, "This isn't over. Not by a long shot."With that, he signaled his bodyguards to carry Leo out of the scene.Blake wasn't like Leo. He couldn't afford to throw punches in public, not when he had to maintain the dignity of the royal family. If their grandfather found out that they were brawling like teenagers, he'd be furious. Blake wasn't about to let years of careful upbringing go to waste over a fight. But that didn't mean he'd let this slide. He had other ways to make these men pay—ways that would leave a lasting impressi
Third Person's POV"What?" Blake's expression froze for a moment. The next second, he grabbed his coat and rushed out the door.As he hurriedly put on his jacket, he called out to Patricia, "Grandma, I'm heading out!"Patricia, noticing his frantic demeanor, had no idea what was going on. She chased after him, asking a few questions, but Blake didn't answer. He quickly got into his car, called his assistant, and sped off toward the scene where Leo was causing trouble.Inside the hotel, a group of men were shouting and cursing. On the nearby sofa, a man sat slumped over.He had been wearing a mask earlier, but now it was off, revealing a strikingly handsome yet arrogant face—Leo.Next to him, several men were nursing their injuries. One of them held a hand to his face, blood trickling down his forehead. They had ganged up on Leo earlier, but when his mask fell off, they froze in fear and stopped attacking. Despite that, Leo was still battered and bruised, looking utterly disheveled."I
Third Person's POV"What's going on here? I just heard him mention a breakup. He wouldn't be breaking up with Sunny, would he?" Patricia was so agitated because she had caught those words.Catherine, of course, also pondered over what Leo had said, and then replied, "Grandma, it seems he announced a breakup with Miss Garcia in front of the reporters.""What's this all about? They were getting along just fine, and now suddenly a breakup? Did he initiate it?"Patricia was truly a worrier at heart. She had finally seen her grandsons with girlfriends, on the verge of settling down, but now they were talking about breaking up."Grandma, don't get so worked up. Why don't you give him a call and find out what's really going on?" Catherine comforted Patricia. In reality, she too felt a growing unease. She sensed that this matter might be far more serious than she had imagined.Patricia picked up her phone and dialed Leo's number, inten
Third Person's POV"What on earth is going on? I was telling everyone that Leo was going to be my son-in-law, and now look, everyone's calling to mock me, to make a fool of me. You unambitious girl, you've disgraced me!"Moira clearly couldn't accept this reality and the blow it dealt her, venting all her resentment on Sunny.Sunny let Moira scold her without a word of retort.Only after Moira had finished did she say, "Mom, I'm tired. I'm going to hang up now."After ending the call, Sunny closed her eyes, lay back on the bed, and felt utterly drained. She knew the days of being ridiculed were far from over, and she could only resign herself to accept it all.The news of Leo and Sunny's breakup indeed caused quite a stir. Some gloated, those who watched indifferently, and those who were secretly delighted and mocking.Among them, the most elated was undoubtedly Mirabel Field, who had always taken a dislike to Sunny. She
Third Person's POV"Fine, let's break up then." Leo snorted coldly, his tone devoid of any reluctance, "I'll have someone pack up your things and send them back to you.""Leo, I'm really sorry. Thank you for not despising me in the past...""Don't say such insincere words. If I liked you, I would naturally treat you with utmost kindness. But you didn't cherish it. You betrayed my trust, and this is all on you," Leo cut her off abruptly, then stormed out of the hospital room, slamming the door behind him.Sunny felt as if she had been struck by lightning, standing there motionless for a long time, like a frozen statue.A gust of cold air came through the window, jolting her awake. It felt like she had been in a beautiful dream, but the man who had been good to her was now gone.In the world of werewolves, the departure of a mate is a tremendous blow to the other party.Sunny felt her world collapse in an instant, as if she had lost the
Third Person's POVLeo sat on the sofa directly opposite the hospital bed, his hands constantly flipping a mobile phone. The thought of how tightly this woman had concealed things from him made his heart feel stifled. He began to doubt how genuine her feelings for him were.Perhaps her intentions for getting close to him were becoming increasingly clear—was she trying to atone for her despicable Olivia? On what grounds did she beg for his forgiveness? Shouldn't mistakes be punished?"Mmm..." Sunny, on the hospital bed, let out a faint moan, seemingly due to discomfort. Then, her tightly closed eyes slowly opened, revealing the white ceiling and the IV drip hanging nearby.'Was this a hospital?'Sunny suddenly sat up, only to meet a pair of dark eyes, their depths flickering with cold light as if carrying a Siberian chill, causing her to gasp in fright."Did you bring me to the hospital? Thanks." Sunny vaguel
Third Person's POVAt that moment, a middle-aged woman emerged from inside, her face turning pale with fright at the sight of a group of people intruding on her farm."Sir, why have you broken into my farm? Is there something you need?" This woman was Teresa, who feigned surprise as she stepped forward to inquire."Bring Olivia out!" Leo said with a stern expression."Olivia? She's not here!" Teresa immediately shook her head in response."Do you really think we'll believe that?" Leo suddenly turned around, grabbing Sunny who was walking last, and said with a gloomy face, "Didn't she come here looking for Olivia? Stop wasting time and bring her out."Sunny's face had already turned pale, devoid of any color, and her body was on the verge of collapsing.Teresa looked at Sunny, her face clearly showing a look of reproach, "Sunny, how could you do this? Do you have any idea...""Teresa, I..."Sunny tried to explain, but fou
