Chapter 187

　　Catherine's POV

　　I spent some time with the two kids for a while. Then I put Hedwig to sleep and went to take a bath.

　　When I got out of the shower, I heard the sound of a car in the garden, and I knew it was Blake.

　　I put on my pajamas and left the room to look for him. The moment I went to the balcony, I saw him standing there alone. With a cigarette in his hand, he seemed worried.

　　I looked at the cigarette in his hand and asked, "Why are you still smoking this late at night? Is something bothering you?"

　　There was a smile in his voice. "Do you care about me?"

　　I was a little helpless. I said, "Yes. What happened to you?"

　　"Nothing. I was just thinking about work." As he spoke, he pressed the cigarette against an ashtray aside.

　　Since it was about work, my hands were tied, though I wanted to help him.

　　"It's late. Go to bed!" I didn't know what else to say.

　　"Cathy!" Blake suddenly stopped me.
