Aliyah Sundae

I couldn’t tell what was wrong with Alessandro. He had been moody for 2 weeks now. Seriously if we are ever together he will be very difficult to deal with. Trying to talk to him doesn’t work, pretending something is wrong worked only once but after that he just sends Daniel to check up on me and that’s bad. At first I thought it was only me he was ignoring. Later I realized it was everyone even Daniel.

I however decided that today I will go in. Standing in front of his door I knocked

Alessandro

“Let her in” Leo my wolf said.

“But she will see it” I retorted.

I had been under a lot of stress lately and hadn’t had the chance to run wild and free in a while. And that was taking a toll on me. My eyes were darker. And what surrounded them were not bags but wounds.

“If she is really our mate she won’t find it disgusting.” He retorted..

“You can come in Aliyah.”

“I see food really is the way to a mans heart.” She said smiling. Completely oblivious to why I let her in.

“What happened to your eyes?” She asked.

“Nothing.” I said not attempting to cover it in anyway.

She stared at it for a long time came closer and came to touch it.

When you’re ready you can tell me about it.

She warmed me up with her act and so…

“Tomorrow we can go for the picnic.” I said.

A look of surprise flashed through her face and then.

“Yaay, finally!”

The next day ….

All through the ride I was nervous and worried. I had found my mate not too long ago. Knowing how dangerous my life was on every side I should not have taken her out. She could get hurt but since she insisted I wanted to make her happy. I looked at her from the corner of my eyes and she was happy, she had turned on loud music, was dancing and in a very good mood. I was worried but when I looked at her smile all my worries melted away.

Aliyah Sundae

What a beautiful day! If I hadn’t forced him, grumpy Alessandro would have wasted this day. If I didn’t force to enter his office that is.

When we got there the mat was already laid. That’s one of the best parts of the picnic. Why was it done already? That’s unfair!

“Alessandro, why is the mat laid out already?” I said sort of crossly.

He looked at me strangely before understanding what I was saying.

“I didn’t know you would want to set it up yourself.” He said straightly. “So what do you want to do now?” He asked.

He snapped his fingers and a guy in suit came for to clear the set up. Within a minute another person brought all the things we need. And now I could set it up the way I wanted.

Alessandro just stared at me. He didn’t even offer to help me. What was wrong with this man?

Alessandro Caprio

Unknown to Aliyah I was watching her and I saw all she was thinking on her face. She was upset I wasn’t helping her but I also wanted to let her be free to do what she wanted. Seeing her mood was getting worse I decided to do the appropriate thing.

After we finished setting up she jumped on the fruits. I t seems her favorites were bananas and pomegranates. I was however allergic to pomegranate and so couldn’t enjoy those with her. To be honest I couldn’t relax even though I wanted to.

“Alessandro is everything alright?” She asked quite concerned that was when I realized I wasn’t eating and my hands were just stuck on the fruit basket. Quickly I picked some apples and ate and she smiled.

Everything was going on quite well and finally I started to relax when Aliyah wanted to walk around a bit. By that time we were almost done with the sandwiches. I wanted to come with her but she said no.

“Let me come with you Aliyah, else you’re not going anywhere.” I said.

“Oooo bossy. I just want to get something for you.” She said and run off.

I took some grapes to while away the time when I got a call from Daniel.

“Boss, there’s a problem.” He said quite nervously. “What’s the matter?” I asked. “I hope Aliyah is with you….” He asked. As soon as he said it I flew up in search for her. “What happened?” I asked again impatiently.

“They have infiltrated here already. Rely was found unconscious and his gun missing. And Blue just confirmed he shot two intruders.” He continued.

My fear came to pass. And I couldn’t find Aliyah. It was probably not the best idea because they could get to her first but I needed to know where she was. I tried using her scent to trace her but somehow Leo couldn’t find it. After I called out to her I heard footsteps running away.

She wanted to play hide and seek. And from the little I knew I suspected she would do that so I came from the opposite side she heard my voice and she bumped into me.

“I am sorry.” I whispered and drugged her whilst hugging her. Within seconds she was asleep and I carried her. Just when I did that I shot the guy who was hiding not too far away from her. With his stance probably wanted to knock her out. I rushed to the car and we left.

Bright light streamed into my room. Was it morning already? When did we come back from the picnic? What was going on? Where was I?

Just then I saw Alessandro come in. “You’re awake.” He said sounding really happy.

All I remember was being at the picnic with you. And. Did you drug me?

“All I remember was being at the picnic with you. And. Did you…” I finally translated my thoughts into speech.

“And nothing Aliyah” He said hugging me. “I am just happy you’re alright.” He said with a lot of relief.

“Tell me the truth.” I said not convinced with his story of me passing out. I wasn’t sick or anything. In fact there was nothing wrong with me so why will I suddenly pass out?

Before I feel asleep I could smell his cologne. So he knocked me out or well drugged me. But why? I didn’t want to accuse him without getting evidence so I decided to let pretend everything was alright.

I needed to think more about this so I tried to feign a headache and ended up with a real one.

“I want to sleep.” I said quite coldly. He nodded and I turned. After covering me with the duvet properly he left.

As soon as Alessandro left, I devised a plan which I have to put into motion tonight.

Around 10pm, I snuck out. I tried to sneak into Alessandro’s room. I was almost there when a bodyguard caught me of course. So I went for plan B.

“Ooops.” I said dropping my coat and showing my see through nightee.

“I will tell him you stared at my nakedness.” I said. “I am sorry.” He said shivering and scurried away. That was easy. Probably not the best idea but it worked.

After a few minutes I kind of heard them talking about it. Seriously they should shut up. That guard went to tell his friends about it. How stupid. I thought they don’t talk.

“You stared at who?” I heard Alessandro say angrily.

Sorry to them no one asked them to gossip. This also means he will be coming soon… I have to find…

Bingo! His clothes on that day. He is a smart man but lately he has been distracted so I can probably find something there. He thought keeping me away from his room will keep him safe. Well it won't.

As soon as I put my hand in his jacket he called me.

“Aliyah you don’t want to do that.” He said. As I dug deeper I felt the container and pulled out the syringe. Bingo!

“I knew it! You drugged me? How could you?”

She's too dangerous to be left unchecked." Corio nodded, his expression grim. "Agreed. But how? She's in the hospital, under guard. And taking her out there would raise too many questions." I felt my wolf stir at the suggestion of violence, but I pushed it down. "No. No more bloodshed. We need to be smarter than that." A knock at the door interrupted our discussion. Daniel entered, his face unreadable. "Boss, I've just come from seeing Aliyah." I was on my feet in an instant. "How is she? Is she safe?" Daniel held up a hand, silencing my barrage of questions.
