I would wish to think that all that will happen to me the next day will suddenly turn out to be a dream but I have come to realize that wishes are not horses.

I woke up with the sound of the roaring cold wind and birds singing. I didn't know how to react to the serenity at the moment, I stood up to look through the window. The singing bird perching on the tree close to the prison catches my eyes and I thought they were happy but here I am all saddened not sure I will make it to tomorrow.

I groan and sat back, leaning my back to the wall. If those birds knew what day it is for me today, perhaps they will not be singing happy but they are in my shoe. You know they say it is he who wears the shoe that knows where it hurt. They are not part of my life and will never feel any remorse for me. I know I am alone in all this mess.
