Before Emily woke up, Andrew made another call to Brown and asked him to find out about Samantha and Jacqueline. His senses told him that whoever was after Emily was trying to manipulate her into losing all hope. He was almost certain that they were safe, but did not want to raise her hopes then end up disappointing her.
