CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN

Emily woke up bright, and early the next day. As she showered and got dressed for the day she noticed that she was still burning with excitement from the night before. She'd paused severally to ask herself why. She couldn't tell if it was the presence of the Gem or if she was excited because she was going to spend her day with Andrew. She guessed that it was a bit of both.

Humming, she made her way to the kitchen in search of a quick snack and tried to ignore the faint song that called to her. But it's pull seemed to be stronger that morning. And she found it hard concentrating on any other thing. Her hands shook, even as she made coffee that morning.

A bit frustrated she crept outside and took a stroll under the morning sun, to get her head in order.
