CHAPTER NINETY-THREE

Larry tailed Caleb as he trudged back home from his meeting with Shirley. Since Laura's death, he made it a habit to shadow him. Watching Caleb go out of his way to snatch something that wasn't his and knowing that he was going to do anything possible to prevent him from winning against Andrew was therapeutic and calmed his nerves.

Since Laura's death, Larry had become close to losing his mind and going rogue. There was a new voice in his head. At first, he couldn't tell the difference, because it sounded a lot like him. Sometimes when it complained it sounded like his wolf, but it wasn't him or his wolf. Neither of them was as bloodthirsty and mean as it. The voice was unhinged and impulsive. It fed off his hatred for Douglas and nagged at Larry to kill the old Alpha, Caleb, Nicole, and Mendez for Andrew's sake, it wasn't patient, it wanted their blood immediately. It was the reason why Larry began following Caleb at first and since then, he had learned so many interesting things.
