CHAPTER NINETY-SIX

Andrew's wolf fumed as Andrew ran through the forest. Although it was in control, it was pissed off that it couldn't shift to hunt the bear that was chasing them. Andrew's body was a limitation and weighed it down. It was a bit pacified that at least Andrew had put Emily out of harm's way. When it was done with the bear, it planned to go after the rogue at once. Both wolf and man agreed that it was the best opportunity they would have to get rid of the wolf and hoped that Emily would stay put and not come after them until they were done.

Andrew intentionally led the wolf into the Western part of the forest, hoping that the ruckus the bear was making would stir up the rogue. They'd run for a while now, but there was still no sign or even scent of the rogue.

Frustrated Andrew doubled back, allowing his rage and dominance to seep out of his pores. The bear charged on, overtaken by its prime instinct and not noticing the change in Andrew's countenance.
