Andrew watched Emily struggle in her sleep. She'd been like that since he brought her home and His wolf was not taking it lightly. It wanted to hunt and kill whatever was putting her through so much terror.

When he'd returned from getting her things, he found her screaming and bawling at something imaginary. Seeing Emily who he knew to be tough and buoyant be so terrified that it triggered a panic attack, hurt him. He'd frozen for seconds before he approached her and tried to bring her back to her senses. It took him at least 30 mins to calm her down before he was able to drive them home.

Since she was asleep, his wolf automatically came closer to the surface. Together they sensed that Emily hadn't told them everything about the case they were working on. Though he wished he knew, he couldn't blame her, both of them were still entitled to their secrets and he too had kept a lot from her.
