The notification sound from the microwave went off, snapping the two out of their hazy stage.
“Damn it.” Marcus cursed under his breath, not wanting to leave Giselle’s side as the omega scent just got him under his spell. He felt like her enchanting eucalyptus scent of Giselle around him suddenly turned into a deep blue sea that pulled him in, drowning him in its intense aroma.
But Marcus was willing to drown in it. Marcus was so ready to lose himself in it.
Even Marcus’s inner wolf yearning for it, too. It felt disappointed when Marcus stopped in his track.
Not only did Marcus and his wolf feel disappointed, but Giselle and her wolf did also, too.
Nonetheless, the omega knew she was not ready for them to take things further than this.
“Is mom seeing the guy?” Marcus reluctantly let go of Giselle to get his pizza.
