A lot of people might be wondering why I was too slow in killing Trent. He wasn't as powerful as we thought he was. It was just one of those things that people did to maintain their reputation.

Maybe a few years ago they were on top of the food chain and all of that but as of today there was no one who could boldly speak for him. He didn't know that I had made various researches so that I would be able to get out of this mess. Even Ember didn't know my plans and I intended to keep it that way. If I didn't do it that way she might want to talk sense into my head and try to convince me why it is bad but I as well as everyone knew that Trent didn't deserve kindness.

I was a bit distorted in my judgment but after I realized that I was only being played it stopped me from acting and thinking in that manner. Anyone who didn't know this was going to war with his conscience. Everyone knew that he wasn't a good fellow. It was just me who was trying to make sure that I didn't so
