BLAKE’S POV

From 2 days I’m waiting for her to fall into my arms, and even when she does, she slips away with her brother.

‘take it slow Alpha, you will meet her tomorrow’ Rock said. But how would he understand the pain of not being with your destined one when she’s right in front of you.

When Rock gave me the report that she was searching for a job as a kindergarten teacher. I could imagine our whole home filled with little cute kids like her playing around. I changed my whole mansion to a kindergarten school so she would be with me always.

Now all our pack’s kid will be studying in this mansion till she accepts me and the pack. Every day I wait next to her balcony in my wolf form so that Max feels secure. The loss of her escaping from us is something we both can’t handle.

Tomorrow was the day she would enter our pack’s house. I didn't want to scare her away with our pack members. As all of them were eager to meet their Luna. I told my pack members to not come near the house. My mom and dad were also jumping with joy. They were making preparations for her arrival. The energy and happiness she was bringing to this place even before her entry is enough to tell how precious she is to all of us.

The day had come and I wanted to make a good impression on her. I wore a black suit and styled my hair. Max was jumping with joy knowing that he could talk to her after a long wait. He was even giving me lectures on how to behave when he was the first who would lose all his sanity near her.

Rock mind linked me that she had entered the hall. And as I saw her tiny figure entering my nest I had an overwhelming urge to protect and treasure her. I was walking down the stairs when she met my eyes. I knew she was stunned and couldn’t move because that’s the connection mates have when they first meet each other.

As I was about to reach her, she dropped down, worried about what had happened to our mate, I rushed towards her. When she lifted her chin, I could fall for her all over again. She was beautiful and she was mine.

I so wanted to hold her, kiss her and never let go, but I had to control these feelings. She slipped back as I tried to help her up, she was shocked by the spark she felt when our skins touched.Damn, she looked so cute, clueless of what had just happened. It's common to have a spark when we first touch as the body will get used to it over time. The spark is a confirmation that we both are mates.

She started apologizing so innocently, that I could watch her the whole day. My parents were watching the whole scene from the first floor encouraging me to make the first move. Although I badly wanted to do it. I wanted her to feel safe first.

Just then Callen came running towards me calling Daddy…..NOOOOO… u don’t call me that in front of her, she will misunderstand. Callen was Rock’s and Serena’s child. I was his godfather, so he would call me daddy. But now was not the right time to be thinking about this. I had to solve the issue.

When I told her, he wasn’t my child. Never in my life was I scolded. But hearing her raised angry voice, I could see our bright future where I would annoy her in the kitchen and she would keep scolding me that she hadn’t made breakfast yet.

But now I had to stop this. My mom mind linked me to tell that this was part of a test and she would understand. The moment I told her that. She became meek and cute knowing she had just shouted in front of her boss. Her embarrassed face was worth the shot.

I told Rock my Beta to take her and fill up all the documents. I wanted an agreement so that she wouldn’t vanish. After all the formal procedures were done I accompanied her to the gate. I talked about how things were going here and some jokes. I was happy hearing her laughter resonating in my ears.

She heard a honking and turned to leave, but Max wasn't ready to let go and neither was I. I hugged her tight breathing in her scent even when she struggled to push me off. Her strength was nowhere near mine.

I could feel her heartbeat rising. I was happy that I could make her feel that way. I knew she would come around sometime. When I let her go, my face was so close to her, her lips were all that I could see.

Her eyes were scanning my whole face. Max was telling me that our mate was mesmerized by me and I knew it too. I was happy that my mate was interested in me. Max still wasn’t patient and wanted to show his true self to her.

But I had to control him with all my strength when she left towards the sound.

Her leaving me was something I never wished would happen. I went back to my mansion and could sense all the eager eyes and hears waiting for an answer.

‘ she still doesn’t know who we are, although she is a human, I will still love her….everyone can go back to their duties’ I said with an Alpha command.

My parents looked at me with pity as I had to endure the pain of not being next to her.

The moon rose, and my bed felt empty knowing that she was sleeping elsewhere. I went to her house and climbed up to the balcony where I could see her silently enjoying the blissful sleep.

She was snoring, so cute….how I wish I could hold her close and sleep tightly in my bed or cuddle with her in the morning. In all these 26 years of my life, I have never felt this way, but she brings out the desires in me.

I want to make her mine but at the same time, I’m scared of her rejection……if only she would love me unconditionally, I would be the happiest man on earth.
