Chapter 822

Caleb led a group of high-ranking officials of the state and were standing in the town hall of Dernburg City. The heads of the top five families in Dernburg City, except for the Carson family, were there as well. The presidents of the second and third wealthiest companies in the city were also included.

At that moment, all of them were standing respectfully next to the chairs on either side of the meeting table.

The head of the long meeting table was initially Caleb's seat, but it was empty at that moment. Caleb was standing to the left of the head of the table instead.

None of the people in the room had the guts to sit because they were waiting for the arrival of a big shot—the commander-in-chief of the Pendragon Warriors, Liam.
