Celena was with a face full of wounds. Her eyes which were originally big and bright were now bloodshot from crying for too long. She raised her bloodied arm lightly, inching closer to Liam's cheek slowly. She looked visibly moved, her lips were trembling and she looked at Liam teary-eyed.

"Liam! Why did you come back? Liam! You finally came back!" she sobbed.

Celena was feeling extremely conflicted. There were too many emotions mixed up in her heart.

On one hand, she was thinking of what would happen to Jovie and her if something were to happen to Liam due to his return. On the other hand, she was thinking if he returned earlier, then they would not have been subjected to so much inhumane torture.

Mostly, she was hoping that Liam would not come back. After all, she knew how much the likes of Brianna and Trevyn from the Hughes family hated him. If Liam were to fall into their hands, then there was no way he was going to survive.

However, Liam
