The young man called Xavier retorted, sounding frustrated, "Why did you tell me off, Grandpa? It was all his fault! He shouldn't have gotten in my way! I was just trying to get him to skedaddle! Besides, what is he even doing here at the Royal Terrace Restaurant anyway? People like him don't belong here!"

Liam scowled upon hearing this and shot him a look so sharp it could cut through butter. He toned down his temper considerably since arriving in Drunham City—if this rude young man encountered the old Liam, he would be sprawled on the ground in five seconds flat!
