Xora became even more upset after she heard Liam's words. Her eyes were filled with rage. It was as if she was about to devour Liam. Her voice was frosty as she said, "What else do you want?"

Liam frowned, his expression darkened. The air around him became colder as well. He pointed at Thora and said frostily, "Apologies to Thora right now!"

Xora was first taken aback. Then, she shouted furiously, "Dream on! Do you want me to apologize to an insignificant staff member like her? Can she bear to accept it?"

Liam sneered, exuding an intimidating air all of a sudden. He took a couple of steps forward and stared at Xora. He asked in return, "Oh? Is that so?"

Xora was so frightened that her legs turned to jelly. She thought of how Liam slapped her without hesitation at all earlier. She could still feel the burning pain on her cheeks as well. With all that as her reminder, she quickly took a few steps back.
