These are all rightful citizens of Biskeland, so I won't have you going around calling them scoundrels or the like. You'll be toast if any one of the reporters catch you saying that. The manager had let it slip out of his mouth out of annoyance but soon realized his mistake. He grinned apologetically and said, "Yes, Ms. Bristow. I'm sorry. I let my temper get a hold of me and acted impulsive. It won't happen again."
