Damon's anger was clearly visible as he drove, gripping the steering wheel tightly with bulging veins on his hands. His jaw was clenched, and his eyes were red, but he couldn't fully comprehend how chaotic his thoughts and situation had become in that moment.

"Fudge," he muttered under his breath as his mobile phone buzzed once again, displaying his wife's name on the screen. Normally, he would have answered the call and spoken kindly to her, but his current state of frustration, anger, and overall disarray prevented him from doing so. He chose to continue ignoring her, just as he had done with her two previous calls, which had occurred a mere ten minutes ago.

Damon accelerated, driving faster until he finally parked the car in the garage. Letting out a heavy sigh, he rubbed his palm against his face in an attempt to appear composed and unaffected. Retrieving his mobile from the vehicle, he slammed the car door unintentionally, the loud noise only serving to further aggravate him.
