"Ahh..."

"My head hurts. It's a good thing Lucas hasn't come back from Batanes yet."

"Chelsea, thank you, by the way. It's a good thing you picked me up, so you saved me from the guy who had plans to disrespect me at the bar last night." I looked at her as she remained speechless.

"Why are you silent about that? Did I say or do something wrong to you last night?" worried that I asked her more.

"Dianna, I'm not the one who saved you from the maniac guy you are talking about. I'm not the one who took you to your house either." I leaned back in my swivel chair and let go of the ballpoint pen in my hand.

"You must be kidding. You're the only one I know who knows I was in that place last night." My voice dripped with disbelief.

"I'm telling the truth."

"If it's not you, who is it? Could it be my husband? Did he go there for a moment and take me home before he went back to his work?" Her eyes were rolling because of what I said.

"It's Dylan I'm talking about, Dianna." I laughed
