Chantelle was sitting down opposite the sister from the church. “Hang on, aren't you the aunt of that young and vibrant child. Mitch?” the sister questioned trying to be sure. “Yes, I’m the one!” she responded calmly.“So, what brings you here? What's it that I can do for you?” the lady inquired.“Sister, I have wanted to apologize for being so unpleasant towards you during the time that I was here!” Chantelle apologized.“Is that it? Do not worry about it at all because that meant nothing to me!” the sister made known.“Uhhh, the reason I came here is to talk to Travis. Is he here right now and is it right if I at least talk to him?” Chantelle asked.“He recently found out about the whereabouts of his family and as we speak. He must have reunited with his children,” the nun said. “Oh, is that so?” Chantelle said. “Well, if that’s the case sister. I would have to go and come back some other time,” she added getting up on her feet.“Do you at least want to leave a message for him?”
They both pulled away from the tight hug. Jessica decided that since she was starting with her kids, they deserved to know that their father was alive and well.“Concerning your father, I got to see him!” She voiced and the shock on her children’s faces was clearly visible. “You and father saw each other? Where and when?” Rose asked her words clustered together. “He came here because he wanted to talk to me but I could not bring myself to talk to him, when I set my eyes on him. I began to remember all the memories and sufferings that I had experienced, all that we had to go through. My heart was about to burst and that’s why I could not bring myself to talk to him!” Jessica explained while she rubbed her forehead. “Do you know where I could possibly find him?” Rose asked but Jessica wiggled her head.Later in the day, Rodrigo and Jessica where sitting in the hallway all alone. “I definitely owe Raya’s life to you. You once saved my own life too, thank you Rodrigo.” Jessica thanked
Ray had taken Rose home but she seemed moody and unusual. “You know what? I truly want to see my father, there are so many questions I want to ask him. Like, where was he during the time he suddenly stopped coming home to us?” Rose voiced out, Ray could feel the distress in her voice. “Doesn't your mother know where he currently lives?” Ray asked.“She doesn't, and besides she doesn't seem like someone who wants to know any of that. Mother, is honestly very angry with father and I think understand her.” Rose pointed out. “Who knows, he might drop back here in the hospital. Why don't we wait for a few more days, he might suddenly show up to check on Raya.” Ray pinpointed.“That's true, I hope he does before Raya gets discharged from the hospital because it's the only possible chance for me to get to see him again,” she told Ray who tried to assure her that everything would be fine. “I guess, it's time for me to leave so you can get some rest already!” Ray said.“Alright, thank you s
“Travis?” Claudia called, as she trudged towards Travis wearing a skimpy gown and brown glittering heels to compliment them.“What are you doing here, Claudia?” Travis questioned.“Well, the sister told me that I could find you here. Uh, I was thinking of inviting you somewhere to at least grab a bite. Just a quick snack or coffee at least,” she urged him.“I don't think that can happen because I have a prior arrangement with Rose, and after that, I have to visit Mitch!” Travis further said, and that had left Claudia very curious. “Who is Mitch?” she questioned with an arched eyebrow. “This little girl is a friend of mine who is the same age as my youngest daughter. I guess that is why I’m fond of that little girl,” Travis told her.“But does this Mitch still have her parent around?” Claudia asked, he slowly wiggled his head. “No, she doesn't because the little girl is an orphan,” he responded.“You know what? I think that I could help you arrange for an adoption process!” Claudia
Chantelle was in her room when a sharp blinding pain hit the side of her chest very hard. She fell to the floor while she held her chest and groaned in pain, “ahh,” she groaned painfully.“Auntie, what’s happening to you!” Mitch ran into the room towards her direction. “Mitch, I need your help right now. I need to go to the hospital right now, I can't bear the pain any longer!” she muttered hurriedly with a groan and clenched teeth. The little girl nodded, and she ran out to find help to take her aunt to the hospital. Soon, they were in the hospital while the doctors checked on Chantelle. “What do you call your aunt's illness?” Hendrix asked.“I honestly do not know anything about that, Hendrix, all I know is that when I came into her room. She seemed to be twisting in pain while she held her stomach very tightly on the floor.” Mitch explains in sobs.“Stop crying because I'm very sure that the doctors would do all they can to save your aunt to feel better,” Hendrix said, patting h
The pen in Travis' hands twitches while he examines the booklet in his hands. As much as things weren't going easy right now, he still wanted to at least find his youngest daughter! He began to pen down some things on the paper when his attention was caught short by the clicking of heels. “Hi Travis?” the voice of Claudia filled the air. Travis rubbed his jaw while he watched her take a seat opposite him. “What are you doing here?” he managed to question. “I came here to know if you are doing okay here?” she blurts out while looking around.“You know what Claudia? You shouldn't be checking on me like you used to, it's not necessary!” he told her firmly. “Let me do this because I’m very happy with what I’m doing. What are all those notes for?” she asked. Travis felt uncomfortable with her question but he decided to tell her. “These are names of different orphanages. I just wanted to check if my youngest daughter is in one of these!” Travis responded, he slowly rubbed the nape of h
The next morning, Claudia had dropped by in the orphanage where Travis was staying. “Hey, it's a good thing that I still caught you here. I thought that you might have left already! By the way, this is yours, Mitch!” Claudia voiced while handing the little girl some shopping bags.“I brought you some clothes and some kinds of stuff that you may need. I’m sure that they would all fit you, and also there is some food there too, I’m sure that we don't want to burden ‘sister’ here.” Claudia muttered with a widened smile.“Of course not, you should not worry about that. Especially now that Travis is like a family to me, I told him that it's perfectly alright for Mitch to stay here with me. Anyway, she is familiar with this place!” The nun responded.“Thank you so much, sister!” Travis appreciated. “Uhmm, Travis. Why don't you both stay at my house? You and Mitch are free to live there!” Claudia suggested.“Uhmmm, maybe it's better for us to just stay here but then there's something I want
Claudia gave the flattest looks while she walked into her house. She felt overwhelmed by her actions lately, “And just where have you been again? You seem busy lately!” Tessa said, her gaze fixed on Claudia. “I have been with Travis, I bought some clothes and things for his adopted child.” Claudia blurted out.“His adopted child? Is it not your adopted child too?” Clara, who had been sitting silently, asked. “Wait, what’s going on?” Tessa questioned with a confused expression. Claudia flashed her a lovely smile before taking a seat beside her. She slowly picked up the wine bottle on the table to pour herself a cup, she soon sipped it content before speaking. “Well, you see. This child named Mitch now lives with Travis. Basically, both of their lives with the nun. I had offered them to stay here rather!” Claudia uttered while she played with her nails.“You what? Does that mean they will start living here?” Tessa asked unsure if she had heard her friend so well.“Wait a minute, wha
