CHAPTER 158

The air after Rodrigo and Jessica had their conversation had been filled with silence. They both had been mute throughout their ride back home but the moment they got back to Jessica's residence, Jessica had decided to halt the silence between them.

“Uhmmm Rodrigo, I want to thank you for your understanding. It’s not truly impossible for it not to happen but can you give me more time to fix these things!” She told him but he ignored her and walked away.

“Hey, you guys are home?” Daina walked down the stairs towards Jessica.

“Uhmm, where is Raya?” Jessica asked ignoring her question.

“I truly have no idea because I thought she was with you all along!” Daina told.

“I think I should call her because where could she be?” Jessica said, searching her bag for her phone. The moment she brought it out, she had dialed Raya’s number.

After the third ring, she was beginning to get worried.

“I have called and she isn’t answering any of my calls!” Jessica lamented a bit of worry in her expression.
