Credence's expression was calm as he steadily put the car to a stop. Just as he rolled the windows down, he saw Marvin and Jonathan jump down from the two Land Rovers. They walked towards Credence's car window and stared inside.

Jonathan threw the cigarette butt in his lips away, as he pulled open the door of the passenger seat, and sat inside.

"Credence, be honest, did you stay with Dorothy last night? Looks like she's finally decided to forgive you! Congratulations! Look at that satisfied face of yours. You look overjoyed. Gee, it seems that one good f*cking session really can solve anything, if not, then two should do."

Credence frowned and spat out a mouthful of smoke. He narrowed his eyes, with a silly smile on his face, he said, "Get lost! If you have so much time to be concerned about me, I dare you to seduce Minnie."

"I'm just concerned about your relationship with Dorothy." Jonathan was speechless. He lit a cigarette and thought of something. He looked

Juelz was caught off guard. He was so shocked he took two steps back. Suddenly, he raised his head and saw the face of the man who came over like a gust of wind. He raised his eyebrows. "What the f*ck, Marvin? Why are you here?" Marvin had finally found him, and he wasn't going to beat around the bush. He immediately stared at Juelz and bluntly asked. "Are you really considering working together with Jeremy and Melanie to fight against Credence?" "How did you know?" Juelz frowned. "Marvin, you've been stalking me!" Marvin glanced at him and sneered, "I'm not that bored." Juelz wasn't stupid. He figured out everything. Marvin must have asked someone to follow Melanie, and that person followed her here. "Melanie is in room 1606. If you think you're good enough,  go and get her. Don't put on this bullsh*t in front of me." Marvin found this very funny. He took a step forward and said very imposingly. "I am not here for her, I am here for you. Juelz, you

Inside Dorothy's ward. It was the middle of the night, Dorothy was lying on the bed. She suddenly woke up from her nightmare with a scream. "Ah! Credence, no!" She opened her eyes and saw the white walls and her quilt. Then she realized that she was just having a nightmare. In her dream, Credence was in a terrible fight for his life with a group of killers that Melanie brought along. His eyes were bloodshot red, and he was badly outnumbered. In the end, he continued to retreat until he reached the edge of a cliff and fell. The dream was so real that she could still feel the blood oozing out of Credence's body. Thinking of that terrible nightmare, Dorothy could not go back to sleep. She quickly got up and tried to reach for her phone on the bedside table to call Credence. Right now, she really wanted to know if he was alright. She wouldn't be at ease unless she knew he was fine. Dorothy placed her slender fingers on the screen and sc

Inside the bathroom. Credence didn't turn on the shower. Instead, he turned the tap above the basin. When it was half-filled with water, he scooped some water up with his well-defined hands and poured it onto his handsome face. Crystal clear drops of water poured down from his sharp forehead, ran down his straight nose, thin lips, and powerful chin. The water landed on his strong chest and rolled all the way down. Even amidst the sounds of rushing water, he was listening attentively to the sounds outside. Credence took a black bathrobe from the cabinet and used it to dry off of his body. He then put the bathrobe on. The water vapor in the bathroom blurred his vision, causing him to squint. He suddenly turned around and stared at the closed door. His expression was very serious. Sure enough, he heard footsteps slowly approaching him from afar. They were getting closer. The door swung open from the outside. Credence spotted a slender figure rush

A Lamborghini was parked between the trees outside the building. "Boss, we're in position. It looks like Melanie's goons are fighting with Credence's men right now. If we enter at the right time, this won't be too much trouble. This time, with Melanie making the first more, we'll have the upper hand. Credence won't survive the night." Wilson got out of the driver's seat, and he walked around the car to open the passenger door. Jeremy slowly stepped out of the car. He had a lazy smile on his face. His eyes were dim and calculative. "You think too much. Melanie sees Credence as some sort of reward. Until she completely owns him, she'd never kill him." "She may be reluctant to kill Credence, but not you, Boss." Wilson smiled. "When you make your move, Credence won't stand a chance. He's as good as dead tonight." The moment Jeremy stepped into the hall, he spotted a pool of blood at the entrance of the elevator. There were a couple of unconscious people on the

Outside the window was an open expanse of hard concrete pavement. The three-story building was much taller than a regular one. It was about 20 meters tall. If they survived the fall, the impact would leave them paralyzed. After Marvin wiped out all of Melanie's assassins, he rushed over to help Credence deal with her. However, he was too late. He ran to the window and saw Credence fall with Melanie tightly wrapped around him. Marvin clenched his fists and slammed them on the windowsill, "Credence, I'm sorry, I was too late!" He turned around and shouted at his subordinates. "What are you all waiting for? Get to the back of the building and save Credence!" No one expected Melanie, that crazy woman, to do something like this. She would drag Credence down with her to their death. F*ck! ..... As they were falling, Credence tilted his head and spat out some dust from his mouth. He stared at Melanie's crazed face. There was a trace of cruelty and hos

The morning sun slowly lit up the silent hospital. A gray Lamborghini was quietly parked beside a small path with trees. When Wilson drove Jeremy here, it was almost three o'clock in the morning. Germaine was definitely asleep since it was so late. Since he couldn't go into the hospital to check on her, Wilson accompanied Jeremy in the car until the sun rose. He opened his eyes and looked at the back seat. He happened to meet Jeremy's eyes. He let out a lazy sneer. "Let's go, it's about time we got out of the car to get a look at this so-called chief doctor." "Okay, Boss, please wait for a moment. I'll open the door for you. What kind of chief doctor could he be? He doesn't even qualify to help you with your shoes." Wilson smiled, got out of the car, and quickly moved to the back of the car. He respectfully opened the door for Jeremy. "Boss, when I find that doctor, should I rush him and stab him a couple of times, or should I put a bullet in him and call

After Dorothy finished speaking, she sat on the sofa in a daze, and her eyes were filled with worry. She had no idea what Marvin was going to say, nor did she know what had happened to Credence. She just couldn't help but worry about the man who had hurt her time and time again. Marvin easily spotted the worry in her eyes and spoke in a hushed tone. "Last night, Melanie led over 50 assassins in an all-out attack against Credence. When I arrived, I saw Credence and Melanie both fall from the third floor. Melanie is in a coma, and I've sent people to the police station to keep an eye on her, but Credence..." Marvin was about to say something, but then stopped. Dorothy was so anxious, it felt like her heart was about to jump out. Her face was pale when she asked. "What happened to Credence?" "Credence is severely injured. He was shot, the bullet missed his heart by half an inch. He's been sent to the operating room in this hospital. He's lost too much blood and is

Dorothy finally understood Melanie's true power. She was so savage that she almost dragged Credence along to die with her. It was obvious she was just as powerful as Credence. Melanie could easily have her killed if she wanted to. Credence had insisted on sending Dorothy and Belle away. He truly was looking out for their safety. But for some reason, she tripped over her suitcase and almost lost her baby. Almost having a miscarriage was the last straw for her. She would never forgive him for that. However, it was only now that she began to understand the truth. He was doing all this behind her back. Apart from forgetting about all the pain, he had brought her, what else could she do? Dorothy anxiously stared at the closed doors of the operating room. She started praying for Credence. "Credence, please be well. Belle needs you, the child in my womb needs you!" "I need you too!" Not long after, Juelz came looking for her with breakfast

Dorothy and the group didn't buy plane tickets. Instead, Credence used his insane wealth to charter a private jet for them to fly straight to Monticello. Ten hours later, Dorothy and the others arrived at a warm city in the south of Monticello from Talco City, where the north wind whistled past. When she got off the plane, Dorothy felt dizzy. Credence held her in his arms as he gently guided her forward. When she turned around, he saw Yezoo's kind smile, as well as Ysabelle's cold, fake smile. Dorothy suddenly felt uneasey. She lowered her head, pulled back her hair that was hanging from her ear, and asked Credence, "If we really expose her true intentions, do you... do you think that my father... wouldn't be able to accept it?" After getting along with each other for the past few weeks, Dorothy could tell that Yezoo really loved Ysabelle wholeheartedly. He didn't detest her for having worked in nightclubs before this. She concluded that Yezoo was very att

Dorothy looked at Ysabelle, who was standing by the door. She had a bad feeling. She felt that Ysabelle gave off a different vibe compared to Yezoo's kindness. This seemingly noble lady may be her biological mother, but she still felt that something was off about her for some reason. Credence noticed that Dorothy's expression had suddenly soured. He followed her gaze and saw Ysabelle standing with a group of ladies. He immediately pushed the wheelchair to the door and spoke politely but in a somewhat distant manner, "Ysabelle, how long have you been there?" "Not long! Credence, as you can see, Yezoo has hired these nannies for Dorothy. I'm here to see if you need anything else." Ysabelle smiled. The smile on her face was somewhat ambiguous. "I have already arranged for some other people to take care of my wife!" Credence frowned and continued, "However, I've yet to call them over for the time being because Dorothy is still weak." "Well, since you 've already arr

Dorothy recognized this woman who had a sexy body and a pleasant face. She had a good impression of Minnie. She heard Credence mention her a few times from time to time. It seemed like Jonathan was pursuing her. She didn't know how that was going. However, seeing as Jonathan liked to tease Minnie and call her names, she guessed he had little to no chance of winning her over at all. Dorothy slowly turned her head and looked outside the door. She said softly, "I'm fine. I don't need your help right now. My child was only three pounds heavy when he was born. I want to know how he's doing now, and my daughter as well. Her name is Belle. Yesterday, she had a bone marrow transplant operation. The doctor told me that the operation was successful, but I fainted after giving birth to my baby. I don't know how my daughter is doing." Minnie hadn't slept all night. Not only was she looking after Dorothy, she had a hunch that Dorothy would ask these questions right after she woke

Jonathan had a hunch about what was going on. He had been following Credence closely. He stared at Credence's every move with his burning eyes, waiting for the first sign of his weakening. The special drug from Monticello that had been injected into him would last for five hours at most. Credence's body was strong enough to hold on until now. He was able to last for the full five hours. At that moment, Jonathan saw Credence's hands slowly let go of the bed's railings. He was falling backward, Jonathan quickly ran towards him like a gust of wind. He frowned and supported Credence's back. "Credence, hold on, you need to hold on! You mustn't be a cause of concern right now. Dorothy has just given birth. She's so weak that a gust of wind is enough to make her collapse. If she still needs to worry about you, how long do you think she'll last?" The moment he made contact with Credence, Jonathan keenly examined his hands. Credence's muscles and bones seemed to be falling apa

"What's the matter? Why isn't the baby crying?" Dorothy's voice was hoarse, and she looked very worried. She remembered when Belle was born, she wasn't as quiet as this. Her cries were so loud it almost caused the delivery room to collapse. When they heard her loud cries, almost everyone assumed that Belle was a naughty little boy. Instead, she was an adorable and naughty girl. Perhaps she had suffered too much pain and torment when she divorced Credence, and all that despair had affected her in the womb. As a result, when Belle was born, her body was in a poor condition, and she often had to go to the hospital for medicine and infusions. Later, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Fortunately, in the end, Jeremy was kind enough to hand Rosalie, who had matching bone marrow to Belle's, over to them so that they could save her life. Dorothy was elated at the thought that Belle was going to recover. Since Belle's illness could be cured, this little b

Inside the delivery room, Dorothy was given an anesthetic. However, she didn't know whether it was because her nerves were too thick or if the anesthetic didn't have much of an effect on her body. She was still very conscious, and she could very clearly feel the pain. Her stomach felt heavy and was in extreme pain. She felt as though the injection was given to someone else and not her. After struggling for over an hour, she was in so much pain that she had almost turned mad, her mind was in a chaotic state. Her face was as pale as a piece of paper, and she was lying on the delivery bed with sweat all over her body. Her breathing was weak. Sometimes she could breathe properly, sometimes it was difficult. The smell of blood lingered in the air. The attending female doctor continued to cheer her on, "Mrs. Scott, the child hasn't come out yet. Hold on, hold on for a little while longer." Dorothy nodded. As soon as she responded, she suddenly felt her stomach b

When she saw a familiar man rushing inside, Dorothy, who was sweating profusely, and was in so much pain that her vision had gone blurry, thought that she was dreaming. Her pale lips trembled greatly, and her eyes were dull as she looked straight ahead. "Credence, why, why are you here? Your injuries..." Before she fainted, she clearly remembered hearing Jonathan shouting loudly at him, telling him that his body was on the verge of collapse. Where was his wheelchair? Why wasn't anyone helping him push his wheelchair in? He should have gone back to his wheelchair, but why was he suddenly standing in front of her again with such a straight and domineering posture? Dorothy's heart became anxious. She was worried about Credence's body, as well as the child in her womb. Her face turned extremely pale as if she had been thrown into an ice cellar. Her entire body was cold. She was wrapped in two thick quilts as she dealt with the immense pain and shivering cold. The te

Credence raised his hand and massaged his stiff neck. He held that posture for a long time as he stared at the white wall that was connected to the delivery room. His neck was as stiff as a board. It felt numb, sore, and was quite painful. But the pain was nothing to him. He could tolerate it. But on this day, the strain from the gruesome rehabilitation training had begun to spread from his arms to his thighs, torso, and gradually, his entire body. It felt like his muscles were being stabbed with a knife. It was so painful that he, a man who used to train in the special forces, almost couldn't bear it. It was especially painful now that he was standing firmly beside Dorothy as they waited for Belle's bone marrow transplant surgery to end. At 6:30 in the morning, he forced Jonathan to inject him with a stimulant. It was an extremely strong one that could revert his body back to a normal state for a short period of time. However, there were certain rules to

Germaine grabbed the frame of the door and slowly walked out of the toilet. Her face was pale and her body was covered in a cold sweat. She looked like she had just stepped out of a swimming pool. She was wet and sticky all over. During the past month, she had been so worried about Dorothy and Belle's health. She hadn't eaten or slept well for several days, which caused her to have stomach pain and constipation. Every time she went to the toilet, she would be constipated for over half an hour. She tried out all kinds of solutions such as holding her breath, which nearly cost her life. A while ago, while she was waiting outside Belle's operating room, she felt unbearable pain in her stomach and rushed to the bathroom. After over half an hour of torment, she was finally done. Just as she was about to pull up her trousers and leave, she heard someone walk in with high-heels. Then, the woman who walked in closed the door and made a phone call. As soon as the woman s
