It was hurtful for Dion to hear that Mpumi may been only a dream. What even surprising for Dion was how he was starting doubt his reality. He may had entertained the idea of Mpumi being an imagination sent for his salvation and that she probably isn’t here anymore. Very enraged, Dion only budged out. He could not stand anymore of Shannon’s words. He could not stand him anymore.

Dion went home and found his children waiting for him at the dining table. They were done eating. The table was all cleared.

“We have all that money can give us, but still our hearts are not content,” Vincent said.

Dave sat on Dion’s lap; he wanted some cuddles from Dion.

“I feel like there’s a huge part of life’s puzzle missing. We are incomplete. Why can’t you find her? How far can she have run? She must be all alone, and afraid, and missing us, and looking for us.”
