(Rebecca’s POV)

“SO… MIND TELLING ME what happened last night?” Mirajane teasingly asked while nudging me by the elbow. “Was there some fierce action that took place, hmmm?”

I rolled my eyes. “Seriously? Is that the only thing you’d like to ask me? Why don’t you ask me if I’m pissed that you and Jud decided to bail on me?”

“Sis, I already told you that your dummy friend is sick.”

“Sick? Or you two halfwits are cooking some devious plans inside your rotting brains?”

She exaggeratedly gasped. “How can you talk to me like that?”

“I’m not dumb, you know. I am very much aware that you two have been linking me and Heiji.”

“Then why don’t you get it that Heiji likes you so much?” Mira murmured that I barely understood what she said.

“What?” I looked at her weirded out.

She plastered a smile before shaking her head. “Nothing! Anyway… didn’t you say that you’d spill the tea with me? So, stop keeping me in suspense. Did something happen between you last night or what?”
