Lia was sitting in her mom’s apartment.

They were here for dinner, though it was more like an interrogation for her than dinner.

Lara has given her some work, and she was here to give an update.

“So how the plan was going on?” Lara asked while serving her a piece of steak.

But this delicious steak was looking bland to Lia, thinking about what this steak was going to cost.

“I did as you wanted. Jonathan was on board with our plan. So I got an easy entry to the party.” Lia informed and Lara chuckled.

“I told you. Love can make people do so many nasty things.” Lara said while putting a well-cut piece of meat in her mouth.

They were only two at the table but the table was well decorated and give a vibe of rich dining.

Lara was slowly twirling her wine glass and taking sips in the middle.

Her aura screams for money, but only Lia knew how vicious she is from the inside.

From Childhood, she has seen how her mom cared for her image rather than anything.

She wanted the best for her.
