In the evening when Gloria was ready to leave, dahlia came with a worried look.

“What happened?” Gloria asked, noticing her sad face.

“Mam, I was all day with the inspector and tried to find out any evidence which proves us innocent and her guilty. But the chances are slim.” Dahlia informed.

Gloria was expecting this, but inside her, she was hoping justice would be served.

But she was not confident now.

“What was the police’s response? Did they say when they will inform the final investigation result?” Gloria asked anxiously.

It was not only about money. It’s about their reputation.

Everyone knows Dream was the White group’s investment.

Gloria doesn’t care about her but she can’t make her grandfather suffer any humiliation.

“They said it will take three days. But after spending the entire day the result is not good.” Dahlia remind her again.

“Ok, you can go. I will see what I can do.” Gloria said and rubbed her forehead with her fingers.

These things were taking a toll on her.
