Keeping secrets is hard, especially when you keep secrets from the people who care about you, getting out of the house has been a bit hard these days. I am running out of excuses of why Esmay and I are always out and about doing one thing or the other, especially when I should be focusing on other important things.
Once again I woke up very early in the morning, I put on my blue skinny jeans and a white tank top, I took a Jean jacket and took my sneakers and snuck out of our bedroom leaving my husband sleeping peacefully. I couldn't bare the thought of lying to him again.

Esmay's POVThe more I got to spend with the group the more I realise that I had to get the book away from them, away from Elena and her powers. She is already so powerful, I didn't think that she needed more power.If there's anything I learned about Elena is that she will do anything to protect the people she loves, even if it means taking the rest of us down with her. A lot of people seem to have concerns as far as the power of the Grimoire goes.I went through so much to get the Grimoire and I have also learned a lot on that journey. I have grown both as a person and as a witch.
