Edward's POV

I have been locked up in a cave for a thousand years, I have been waiting for someone to save me. My poor mother died of a broken heart. First it was my father, he seduced her, he got her pregnant and left her to be. Even still then she longed for him.

I heard many stories about the man who calls himself my father, I had that he was strong and powerful, when I was younger I thought that he would come for me, that I would not be treated like an outsider anymore. My mother never stopped talking about her.
