The Werewolf Pack Leader

The grumpy man, who was no other than Bryan Edward entered the cafeteria and went to order his food.

Six years ago after the death of Hazelin which led to Zathrion's death; the lycans were outnumbered by hunters who stumbled upon their pack Killing many of them.

The Government had ordered the hunters to exterminate wolves as they were the deadliest and could mysteriously turns to human.

Bryan with Edward, Claire, and Tracin with Zul narrowly escaped their pack injured, they decided to disguise themselves and live among the humans for the time being, until they find the rest that might have also escaped like them and gather themselves to go back to their pack again or form an alliance with humans and live among them [peaceful Coexistence].

But at the moment, they were disguising themselves, they were being extra careful with humans; if they wanted to fight, humans didn't have the magic they had but they were in larger numbers than they were.

Twice Bryan's family's ability could wipe out the whole of humanity from the surface of the Earth. They decided that, after finding more escaped wolves they would go into battle with humans.

They would make sure to wipe humans away from the surface of the Earth. That had been Edward's thought, even though Bryan was against it.

Bryan believed humans were nature and they were all created to live side by side and not to extinct one another.

As a werewolf, it was not hard for Bryan to get himself a professor certificate and start lecturing in the department of history at Hernad University.

Bryan doesn't care about being a professor and should be eating in his office dining or whatever, he eats anywhere he gets the food but he has etiquette, he doesn't eat anyhow.

Bryan got himself fried chicken & onion soup,

He looked around for where to sit but unfortunately, every seat was occupied by students, only two squads had an empty seat left.

He contemplated which one to go to.

He glanced at the squad by his left ( containing 4 seats, 2 females, 1 male remaining one seat left) the females were looking at him as if looking into space, He didn't like it when ladies looked at him as though they were dreaming, although he knew he was very handsome but he didn't like the looks ladies gave him.

He glanced at his Right side, three sit with one seat vacant, Evely who had a dreamy face earlier was now concentrated on her competition.

Both Sophia and Evely were engulfed in their chicken-competition game and were not even aware of their surroundings anymore,

"What are they doing?" Their intent gaze at each other while devouring the chicken amused him, he chuckled and decided to join them.

Sophia and Evely who were both lost in their game, unaware of their environment, saw a figure drawing a seat from their table and trying to sit down, with his food already on the table.

As soon as Evely saw him, her dreamy face came back on again and she was excited that he was joining them, but Sophia was indifferent, she didn't have that look; she looked rather displeased that he was joining them.

She greeted him as per her professor but her expression showed something different.

"Sir Edward, why are you joining us at our table? We didn't ask you to, besides, the table looked quite unkept due to our ways of eating, why don't you take another table, Sir?" Sophia persuaded hoping he'd leave.

Evely was pinching her to stop, but no. There was no way she would stay on the same table with this cold man, she also had to finish her chicken and she would not enjoy it one bit with this man here.

"Although what you said is true, your table looked very unkept, I will manage it. and.. don't mind me.. continue with your ways of eating.” Bryan said to her without really looking up.

"How rude!" Sophia mumbled inside.

"I heard that." He said picking up a spoon to take his onion soup.

Evely's mouth was opened wide agape.

Sophia looked at him sideways as if glaring hard.

Other student did not notice him sitting with them as they had already woken up from their reveries and went back to their eating and gisting.

They all finished their meal and went back to class.

Bryan went to his office,

Sophia's remaining classes were cancelled and they all went home.

"Welcome!" Her mum greeted her as she entered the house,

"Go remove your clothes and come to the dining.” She said.

"Mum when did you return and make all this?” Her eyes were excited. Actually, with Sophia, it was all about food.

She loves food. A serious foodie.

"WOW! mum you are the best. Although I'm full, this food here is my favourite, my mouth is even watery already, really!" she said excitedly and dashed off to her room to remove her clothes, shower, and wear one of her pink pajamas,

She came to the table to see her brother already seated.

"You are back too, how are your girls at school? Hope you are not breaking those high school girls' hearts too much?" She asked Samien, her tone teasing.

"Yes, I'm back. But I'm not a Playboy, okay!" Samien replied almost yelling.

Sophia smiled at him and they both started eating. Their mum eats too

"So..” Mrs Beth's voice came on.

"How is your school life Sophia?" she asked amidst their meal.

"It's fine mum.” She replied about to scoop some beef into her mouth.

"No boyfriend yet?”

"Mum!!!!” They both chorused. Sophia has never liked this topic.

"What? Am I not asking the right question?" their mum defended.

"Mum, other parents wouldn't like their children getting a boyfriend, I don't know why your own is always different." Sophia complained.

She had been so engulfed in studying and looking for a wolf to kill that she did not give any guy her attention. Not even to Glacierm the rich school prince that had always disturbed her.

"Well that is because I'm your mum & not other parents, and also very soon you will graduate and start working, do you want to grow old before you get married?” Elizabeth said with her voice calm.

"Mum she is just 23," Samien added.

"Yes dear, that's why I said boyfriend or is she just going to jump into marriage without building a relationship? It has to start with a boyfriend, then fiancé and then husband, that can take few months or years to be built and by then she will be 28 or 30. Do you understand my point now?" Elizabeth muttered and they both nodded.

"So improve in your makeup and clothing from now on.”

"Mum!!". They both chorused again

"But wait.. Samien you aren't the female one here. May we know why you are being like this? Or you just don't want your sister getting a boyfriend?" Elizabeth asked with her brows scrunched up at why he would not let her talk to Sophia in peace.
