DRAX'S POV

“Run! Get out of here.” I yelled at Rissa as I struggled with the pain I was getting from trying to prevent myself from shifting.

Thankfully, Rissa was a few feet behind me when I stepped into the trap. Else, the both of us would have been stuck together in that trap, mid-air.

In a matter of seconds, I had completely shifted into my big wolf.

‘What the hell is she still doing there?’ I said in my mind. Then I realized that I could still see Rissa from my wolf’s eyes, even though I was trapped inside my wolf’s body. It wasn’t like this before.

Obviously, some things were changing in terms of my human-wolf interaction. Before now, whenever my wolf sprung up, I would be totally oblivious to what was happening. Imprisoned inside my wolf, with my senses dislodged. But now, I could think, I could see, and I could hear. Only that I couldn’t shift back.
