Chapter 73: Acceptance

Moments later, I felt him slowly put me down on the couch. I opened my eyes and I saw him sitting beside me. I looked away when I noticed him smirking at me. I know he will just tease me about what happened to us earlier in the comfort room. So, to escape from my embarrassment, I leaned my head onto his shoulder and clasped our hands.

Later on, he kissed my temple which made my lips curve up. We then fell into silence but unlike what I have felt earlier with his twin, Gabriel, the atmosphere is not making me feel awkward. But instead, it is solemnness and I felt secure in his arms.
