"Hey..."

The silence I was enjoying while I am sitting on the beach sand and gazing at the stars that are beautifully twinkling in the dark sky, was got ruined when I heard that deep baritone voice.

I turned around to where it came from. My forehead creased as I gave Jash Cedrick a confused look when he was the one I saw that was standing behind me, while his hands were on his board shorts’ pocket and his gaze was just focused on the middle of the sea.

Between Gavin’s friends, he is the one who is quiet and doesn't talk much to people. So, I am wondering now why he suddenly approached me and even sat next to me.

"J-Jace . . ." I hesitantly mumbled, calling him by his nickname. "Hi, what is it? Do you need anything?" I added when I noticed the ser
