Chapter 18: Astound

"You're really going with us to go to church, sir? You can still change your mind. They haven't been able to leave yet," I confronted him when he agreed to Tito Ronel’s invitation earlier after we had eaten breakfast.

"Why? Do you have a problem with that?"

I quickly shook my head because I can hear the annoyance in his voice.

"Then, this conversation is over," he mumbled and then opened his car door. "Now, hop on,” he ordered me.
