2020-07-09 14:38:25He stood up after eating and discarded the dishes into the sink. He goes upstairs going towards his son's room first to check on him. He opened the door lightly not to make much noise and gets inside. He walks to him, smiling down at him, seeing his baby sleeping peacefully with an adorable pout on his lips.
He caressed his hair, leaning down to kiss his forehead lightly.
"Sweet dreams, baby."
He gets up and walks out of the room, closing the door behind him. He walked to his room and entered going towards his closet to get the clothes.
He took a long cold shower to relax his mind and heart, and wear comfortable clothes. He walked towards the bed and lay down. He looked to his side at the lump of his mate wrapped in a blanket far away at the very end of the bed.

"Aaron!! it tickle don't do that" Grace giggle adorably removing Aaron hands from her belly.
"But I want to talk to our baby," Aaron said and got to his business: rubbing Grace belly feeling how his baby kicked back.
"See my baby also wants to talk to his daddy, right my baby" Aaron eyes never leave Grace's baby bump, she was around seven and half months.
"But I am tired. I want to sleep, Aaron. You are nearly talking for 3 hours now." Grace whined cutely.
"Shush! You can sleep. I am talking to my son. You are just jealous." He accused me. Grace huffed.
"Why would I be jealous?"
"Because I am not talking to you and giving me all my attention to my baby," he said playfully.
Where is the lie though?
Grace smiled sadly, how Aaron playfully told the actual truth. Grace kept looking at her mate who is talking to his baby for three hours to unborn baby, never once looked up to her. This was their routine now where the other couple talks about there day and plans of future, Grace and Aaron, well Aaron only gave his all attention to 'his baby.'
But Aaron didn't see the tiredness in Grace's eyes who wants to sleep peacefully in her mate's arms. She was hella tired, and pregnancy was taking its toll on her. His naughty baby never stops kicking her tummy. It starts to hurt badly sometimes.
Finally, after talking some more Aaron decided to sleep too. He looks up to see Grace is already sleeping. He kissed her belly and hugged Grace from behind his hands never stopped caressing her baby bump, securing his baby from every harm.
Grace sighs in content when she feels Aaron arms around her and gets more into his warmth, scared that these are the last days she will handle this content and protected. She wants to enjoy as much as she can wrapping in her mate's arms though it's for only their baby. Still, she can feel it. Once her baby is born, all this will be gone. And it was true.
Aaron sighed and turned to Grace, whose back was facing him. He missed cuddling with Grace, holding her tightly in his arms and nuzzling into her neck. He missed her warm body against his. He missed Grace hands that wrapped tightly around his forearms. He missed her scent, that sweet honey, blueberry and a hint of red wine scent of her such unique combination but addicting. Satisfying him and his whole body to the core, relaxed his mind and cleared all the tension.
Now he can only smell it from his son's scent mix with his own, he can't smell Grace scent anymore, and it concerned him. He does not know how to ask Grace, not sure if he's ready to hear the reason behind it.
Coward.
That's what he's feeling. He doesn't even have the guts to get close to her and hug her. To at least feel a little bit of warmth and comfort in his heart from Grace. His heart feels so empty like a big piece of his heart is missing........ Or it's just there but so far from him.
He feels lonely.
He remembers the time where he sleeps at the corner of his side of the bed and Grace once sleep at the centre of the bed so that when Aaron is in a deep sleep, she can cuddle him sneakingly. Still, Aaron can feel her against his body, but that time he was too tired to say anything, so he let her but never hug back.
It's the same what's happening, but the position has changed now. Now they are sleeping in the same room, same bed but Grace is so far at the end that he can't even reach her even if Aaron spread his hand wide laying in the centre of the bed.
She's so close........but so far away.
And it hurts, it hurts so bad.
