A YEAR LATER:

“One year anniversary! Thank you my brother for doing this.” Tristan hugged me and I forced a smile in response, pushing him off making everyone else laugh.

It was currently their one year anniversary and I had gotten MY private jet to fly us out to Kemela, a beautiful country with a beautiful beach. Carl and I were happy for Tristan for making it this far in his marriage. I was however going there for work, I had been paid over millions to cook one of the dishes I had curated myself. It sounded crazy at first to a lot of people, especially after an interview with one of the greatest media personality in the world, Lima Terry.

I hated having to prove myself, but my team had begged and gotten my mother to convince me. So I prepared the dish I called Chef's Ris in honor of the lady imprinted on my heart, body and mind. I had prepared the meal at various restaurants and no other Chef could ever make it like I did.
