He could see that she was upset in the video calls. However, apart from offering words of comfort, there was nothing else he could do – he couldn’t hug her or be by her side.

Jacqueline choked up as she spoke, "Fred, Morris still hasn’t been found. And... he actually called me when he was taken away."

That was the most heart-wrenching part for her – not accepting the call.

If she had, could she have informed her parents sooner and asked them to help Morris?

"It’s not your fault. Anyone can miss a call," Fred assured her.

Tears welled in Jacqueline's eyes. "I want to find Morris. My parents and the police are searching, but there’s still no sign of him."

"We’ll find him. I’ll ask my dad to help too," Fred promised.

"Thank you, Fred," Jacqueline said.

That evening, the Stantons joined the Valors for dinner. Afterward, Fred went with Jacqueline to her room.

He noticed a photo of Morris on her desk.

She actually did not have many photographs with Morris, and this was one of them.
