"It seems like giving birth is incredibly painful for women," Lucas murmured.

"Yeah, but there’s no way to take that pain away," Terry said sympathetically. "What’s crazy is that even though it’s so painful, some people keep wanting more kids. I don’t see what’s so great about having so many."

As the man with the most children among them, Jackson couldn’t help but smile. "I think it’s a blessing to have many kids."

"Really? And how do you feel when you're competing with your kids for Serenity’s attention?" Terry pointed out bluntly.
