Morris didn’t dare choose any of the expensive toy cars.

Jacqueline was puzzled. "Is there nothing you like?"

"I... I..." He felt even more at a loss and finally pointed to what seemed like the cheapest item, a small wooden house.

"But that's a doll house, not a toy car," Jacqueline said.

"I... I’m suddenly interested in that," Morris mumbled.

"I thought boys didn’t like playing house," Jacqueline murmured. The house was one of her favorites, but since Morris liked it, she was willing to give it to him.

Morris blushed even more, too embarrassed to admit that he had chosen it because it seemed less expensive than the toy cars.

"Alright, here you go. I’ve packed all the little furniture and wooden dolls inside. You have to play with it a lot!" Jacqueline insisted, handing him the house and all its accessories.
