Lessie never wanted her only son to be miserable. If her son was destined to be with Clara, she would accept it even if she was reluctant.

"Thanks, Mom," Wilson said and ended the call.

Wilson grabbed his pen after the call and wrote something on the note. He carefully folded the piece of paper and stayed in the study for a long period of silence before walking out of the room.

Wilson returned to the bedroom to find the lights still on. Clara was not asleep. She was sitting on the bed, looking at her cell phone.

"Done with work?" As if noticing his footsteps, Clara spoke up, glancing up at Wilson.

"Yeah. What about you? What are you looking at?" Wilson walked over.

"Looking at some of the pictures we took together. It's been a long time since we've had such a big gathering," Clara said, smiling.

"When the kids are a little older, we can get all the children to form a soccer team."
