Clara pursed her lips. A short pause later, she said, "Even if you don't have the photos, it's fine."

"But it's not just that. I don't remember the feelings I once had for you."

Memories became fuzzy as time passed. Wilson could barely recall the small details in the past, but the stronger memories stuck with him.

Emotions could affect a person's memories. Strong emotions triggered the formation of strong memories while the rest would fade. Maybe the human brain decided that those things were unimportant and could be forgotten.
