Coco wondered what Lucas had done out of love for Serenity and how madly Lucas was in love with Serenity.

"Why are you staring at me?" Lucas broke the silence.

Coco was startled, and she snapped out of her thoughts. “I was just thinking that you don’t seem to like purple.”

Lucas glanced at her as if she was probing too much.

Coco quickly explained, "When we went shopping last time, you picked mint green over purple for me. And today, you chose pink instead of purple. I just thought you might not like purple."

Lucas paused for a moment before saying, "It’s not that I don’t like purple. I just think other colors suit you better."

“Ohh…”

“Don’t worry about the banquet tonight. Just be yourself. However, remember one thing.”

“What is it?” Coco asked nervously.

“You’re deeply in love with me. Don’t forget that no matter what,” Lucas reminded her seriously.

For a moment, Coco was sucked into his gaze as if he was hypnotizing her, constantly reminding her that she was his girlfriend.
