Harry froze as he watched Joyce's lips part, exposing the cold, hard truth.

Joyce revealed, "Summer said she loved you. She couldn't possibly give you up to anyone. She promised to stay with you forever, and she said she only thought of Nathan as a friend and had never loved him."

Harry felt the blood drain from his face, his heart pounding at the painful truth. He stumbled to his feet, almost collapsing. He could not believe what he had just heard.
