Chapter 2509

Harry's face changed. Summer then moved her wrist and tried to pull her hand out of his hold, but he grabbed her wrist very tightly and she could not break free.

"Didn't you say there's no point in wasting your energy on something useless? So what are you doing?" Harry mocked.

"Because it's unbearable," Summer answered. "I’m disgusted by your touch. It makes me nauseous."

Harry tightened his grip. "Well, you'll have to bear it. I don't plan to let go, and struggling is useless."

Summer flinched at the crushing grip he used. The grip on her wrist would probably leave a bruise. Even so, she was stubborn and refused to make a sound. She turned away and looked out the window, staring at the view of Lanford's streets at night. It was still so bright and dazzling, just like she remembered.

Harry tightened his grip on her arm so hard. Those unaware of their story would have thought they were very close, but only she knew how much strength she needed to hold back the feeling of disgust.
