"I missed you loads!" Serenity wrapped her arms around Jackson's neck and kissed him on the lips. "Jack, I want to love you forever. Even after I die, my love for you will endure."

He gently pressed a finger against her lips. "Please don't talk about dying so casually. I want you to see you alive and well."

As he said this, a hint of fear flickered in his eyes.
